Serving a Vision Inspired by Malviya Ji
Bal Vidyalaya Madhyamik School, Dumari was established in the year 2000. It is the second branch of Bal Vidyalaya Senior Secondary School, Prahlad Ghat, which was founded in 1968 by the eminent scholar and connoisseur of art, Acharya Pt. Sitaram Chaturvedi. Acharya Ji closely served the versatile genius Pt. Madan Mohan Malviya, and built the school's foundations on those very same principles of nation-building and cultural preservation.
Spanning a lush green 12-acre campus in Dumari, the school has grown from an initial batch of just 15 students to catering to the educational needs of over 500 students from Nursery to 12th Standard today. Adjacent to our campus stands the affiliated ASCMMV Degree College for Girls, fostering a comprehensive learning environment for the community.

Montessori Approach
Acharya Ji was a strong advocate of Madam Montessori's 'learning by playing' approach. Originally named Bal Vishwavidyalaya (World of Knowledge for Children) to cater to all facets of development, we later transitioned to Bal Vidyalaya for CBSE affiliation, keeping the core playful-learning values intact.
No Failure Policy (K-5)
To prevent early academic frustration, we follow a progressive system where students up to Class V are not failed. Instead, weak subjects are identified and parents are guided to help children prepare during summer vacation, ensuring a positive foundation for higher classes.

The Story of Dr. Annie Besant
Our founder, Acharya Sitaram Chaturvedi, often quoted the prominent English writer and activist, Dr. Annie Besant. Upon discovering that a teacher had struck a child, she said: "What have you done? You have beaten Lord Ram & Shri Krishn."
Acharya Ji abhorred capital punishment, a credo that BVMS strictly abides by. We look upon our students with a maternal love. While guiding and scolding them constructively is acceptable, raising a hand against any child is completely unacceptable. Respect must be born out of love from the heart, not out of fear of a beating.
